Ohio Law allows The Huber Heights Police Division the power to authorize licensing to Golf Carts and Under-Speed Vehicles (USV) in their respective community. As a courtesy to the public, The Huber Heights Police Division will conduct inspections by appointment only. To schedule an appointment time, contact the Huber Heights Police Division at (937) 233-1565. The Huber Heights Police Division is offering this service at no charge for Huber Heights Residents. Personal golf carts may be brought to the Huber Heights Police Division on the scheduled inspection time and date. The Huber Heights Police Division is located at 6121 Taylorsville Rd. Huber Heights, Ohio 45424. Each golf cart that passes inspection will be authorized to receive a title and registration from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, along with Ohio passenger license plates. These plates must be affixed to the front and rear of the golf cart. Golf carts that become licensed will be restricted to streets with a posted speed limit of 25 miles per hour or less. Operators must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and adhere to all traffic laws. Anyone operating a golf cart within the City of Huber Heights must abide by all City Ordinance’s relating to golf carts under section 343 of the Huber Heights Codified Ordinances.
