Rusty Looking Water (PDF)
Occasionally, residents may notice rusty or discolored water coming from their taps. This is usually caused by naturally occurring minerals or disturbances in the water system, such as hydrant flushing or water line repairs. While the water remains safe, the City of Huber Heights recommends running cold water until it clears before drinking, cooking, or doing laundry. If discoloration persists, residents should contact the Water Department for assistance.
