Ride-A-Longs

The Huber Heights Fire Division is a teaching institution Huber Fire Division Sealaffiliated with several Universities and Colleges for both Pre-Hospital providers (EMT-B and paramedics) as well as physicians.

Fire/Ems Preceptor Program

Is offered to ONLY those individuals that are affiliated with an accredited educational institution that is under contract with the Huber Heights Fire Division. Those approved can actively participate at an emergency scene but ONLY to the level of their training as defined by the affiliated teaching institution and/or restriction placed by the company officer.

Observer Ride Along Program

The Ride Along program is open to those that are affiliated with other Fire/EMS organizations and wish to observe our operations. The approved individual(s) may NOT participate in any capacity of an emergency scene or as a representative of the Fire Division. All applicants shall be screened and subject to disapproval from the program.

All applicants are on a case by case basis. The City of Huber Heights Fire Division reserves the right to deny
individuals from any ride-a-longs. All applicants are subject to a back ground check.
