Huber Heights Citizens Public Safety Academy

•  You must complete an application. 
• Applications can be picked up at the Huber Heights Police Division Headquarters at 6121 Taylorsville Road between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, or completed online.
• The Academy is open to all persons 21 years of age who live in or work in the City of Huber Heights.   
•  You must be a responsible citizen in the community with a good reputation, maintain a good moral character, and have no prior arrests.  A background check will be completed by the Huber Heights Police Division. 
•  The applicant should be committed to attending the entire course, which is up to 8 weeks.
• An interview with our Public Affairs Unit will be conducted with each applicant.

Whereas, I am doing so entirely upon my own initiative, at my own risk, and upon my own responsibility.

 Now therefore, in consideration of the Huber Heights Police Division, City of Huber Heights, Ohio, allowing me to participate in the Public Safety Academy and in consideration of said Police Division permitting me use of its facilities, I do hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, remise, release, and forever discharge the City of Huber Heights, Ohio, its employees, officers, council members, acting officially or otherwise, from any and all claims, actions, demands, or causes of action, on account of my death or account of any personal injury or damage to my personal property which may occur, regardless of whether or not said harm or injury occurs through the negligence, misfeasance, or malfeasance on the part of the City of Huber Heights, Ohio, or whether said harm or damage occurs through acts of a person not employed by the City of Huber Heights, Ohio.
