The City of Huber Heights is launching a new initiative designed to foster open dialogue and strengthen community relationships. The first-ever Cups & Conversation event will take place on Tuesday, August 6 at 10:00 AM at the Huber Heights Senior Center, located at 7301 Shull Road.
Residents are invited to join Mayor Jeff Gore and City Manager John Russell for a casual, coffee-fueled conversation about city issues, ideas, and interests. There is no formal agenda -just a relaxed setting for open and honest discussion.
“This is a new opportunity for residents to talk directly with us about what’s important to them,” said Mayor Gore. “We want to make government more accessible and create space for genuine community connection.”
City Manager John Russell echoed the sentiment, noting, “Cups & Conversation is about building trust and transparency. We want to hear directly from residents in an environment that feels comfortable and approachable.”
The event is free to attend and open to all members of the public. Refreshments will be provided.
As part of the City’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, Cups & Conversation will serve as a recurring series aimed at deepening communication between residents and leadership outside of formal council chambers.
