    This event requires sign-up. Link to sign-up is below. Come join while Brukner Nature Center shares with us about what to do if you find a wild animal. Wildlife Rehabilitation: Explore the tools used to care for wildlife. Learn what to do when you encounter a wild animal that needs help. Meet 2 Wildlife Ambassadors who were former rehab patients! Each student will receive an ‘I love wildlife’ sticker to wear home! In the event of rain this event will be moved to the Senior Center located at 6428 Chambersburg Rd.

    This Program Requires sign-up, link to sign-up below. Cloud Park Shelter #6 Come join us for an exciting and educational time with Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. Food, Fitness and Fun. Students will see how to brighten their day with colorful foods and experience fun aspects of eating, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle. With direction from the Children's Medical Center, this class will alert the students to an alarming trend in America – obesity. Proper food choices, portion control, and exercise will be offered as solutions to this problem. This program is best suited for kids 1st - 6th grade.

    The Military and Veterans Commission was established to act in an advisory capacity to City Council and the City Manager to create and maintain an atmosphere contributing to the understanding and respect for past and current members of the military to enrich the lives of Huber Heights residents and visitors through honoring the military veterans and recognizing the value of the service they have and do provide. Mission Statement: "Serving the City of Huber Heights by enhancing the recognition and welfare of all those who have served in the United States Military Services."

  7. "Hands on Building" sponsored by Home Depot

    This event requires a sign-up, link to sign-up is below. Come join us for a hands on building project sponsored by Home Depot. Each child will receive a kit to build and all supplies to build and paint on site. Upon completion they will receive a certificate and a pin for their achievement. This event is recommended for children ages 6-12.

  10. Huber Heights Free Community Paper Shredding Event

    July 27, 2019, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Rose Music Center and Thomas Cloud Park

    The City of Huber Heights and the Huber Heights Chamber of Commerce will hold a free community shredding event on July 27, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at two locations in Huber Heights: Thomas Cloud Park and the Rose Music Center. The event will end when the Shred-it truck is full or at 11:00 a.m. This event is free and open to all Huber Heights residents and businesses with on-site paper shredding conducted by Shred-it. ONLY PAPER WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR SHREDDING. PAPER CLIPS AND STAPLES MAY REMAIN IN THE PAPER FOR SHREDDING. Now is the time to safely dispose of old bank records, tax returns, and other documents to help prevent identity theft. Assistance will be available for unloading items at these sites.

    Come join us for a fun family night out. Bring a picnic dinner, chairs, games, and your family and enjoy the bonfire.
