On the November 7, 2023 ballot, residents will have the opportunity to vote on a RENEWAL of the 0.25% earned income tax that has funded Huber Heights emergency services since 2015. This measure is NOT A NEW TAX and will allow the city to maintain emergency and city services.
2014 Ordinance (on Nov 7 ballot as Issue 25) is a .25% earned income tax for Fire, Police, and EMS services. Funding received from this earned income tax levy are split 50-50 between Fire/EMS and Police.
