Montgomery County Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer Available

The Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer is now available through Montgomery County. It is free of charge to Community Groups, Neighborhood Associations, School Groups, Youth Groups and groups of five or more Montgomery County residents. The trailer is equipped with lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, chipper/shredder vacs, wheelbarrows, brooms, shovels, rakes and more.      Notice of Road Closings

Notice of Ramp Closure

Beginning Thursday, June 11, 2009, the I-70 eastbound to I-75 northbound ramp will close to allow the new ramp to be constructed in the same location. The posted detour is SR202 to I-70 westbound to I-75 northbound.

A message board, barricades and signs will be in place for this ramp closure. The anticipated opening date is Thursday,  October 8, 2009. All work is weather permitting. For further information, contact ODOT Public Information Specialist Barbara Elliston at (937) 497-6820.

Garage/Temporary Sales

All garage/temporary sales in the City of Huber Heights require a permit from the city.  These permits are issued at no charge.  Any resident is allowed to have two (2) sales per calendar year with a one month time span in between.  All sales may last up to four consecutive days.  Hours for the sales are as follows:  Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Signs for garage sales are limited to one on-premise, non-illuminated sign not larger than 4 square feet and not higher than 3 feet.  No more than 2 off-premises signs of the same size may be used and all signs must be behind the right-of-way.  No signs are permitted on stop signs, street signs, utility poles.  Signs improperly placed will be removed by the Code Enforcement Inspectors.
