Project Name:  Stormwater Management – (Project Completed)

Contractor: W. E. Smith Construction – Sections 1 and 2

                      Durst Brothers – Section 3

Project Description:  The 2010 Stormwater Management program consists of Section 1: Stabilizing a Section of Twin Creek; Section 2: Stabilizing a Section of Dry Lick Run North of Charlesgate; and Section 3: YMCA Storm Sewer Improvements.

 

Project Name:  2010 Sidewalk Program

Contractor: Americas Decorative Concrete–Sections A,C,D

                  A-1 Concrete Leveling Company – Section B

                  Durst Brothers – Section E

Project Description:  Sidewalks are to be repaired that are in poor condition.  Section A is replacement of concrete, sidewalks, and aprons; Section B is sidewalk blocks raised; Section C is for new sidewalk constructions; Section D is for the concrete portion of the street program; and Section E is for the new concrete curb.

 

Project Name:  2010 Street Improvement Program

Contractor: John R. Jurgensen Co. – Section A

                      Durst Brothers Excavating – Section B

                      American Pavements – Section C

                      Pavement Technology – Section D Reclamite 

                      Surfacing

Project Description:  Streets have been identified to be repaired that are in poor condition.  Section A is Street Improvements; Section B is sanitary sewer, manhole and valve work; Section C is Sealing; and Section D is reclamite surfacing.

 

Project Name:  Water Tower Painting for Emeraldgate Standpipe

Contractor:  Worldwide Industries, Inc.

Project Description:  The exterior repainting of the Emeraldgate Water Standpipe.

   

Project Name:  Water Main Replacement and Street Improvement Program, Phase II – To be bid September 3, 2010 (11:00 am eastern daylight savings time)

Contractor:

Project Description:  Streets have been identified which are in urgent need of water line replacement and asphalt repair.

 

Project Name:  Brandt Pike, Phase VII – To be bid August 27, 2010 (11:00 am, eastern daylight savings time)

Contractor: 

Project Description:  Widening and Improvements to Brandt Pike, Phase VII for vehicular and pedestrian safety.

 

Project Name:  Demolition of Swimming Pool Facility (Project Completed)

Contractor:  Charles Jergens Construction

Project Description:  The City swimming pool will be demolished and debris removed and lot replaced back to land.

 

Project Name:  Bellefontaine Road Culvert Replacement

Contractor:  Lynde Supply, Inc.

Project Description:  Replacement of the culvert on Bellefontaine Road south of Taylorsville Road.

 

Project Name:  Traffic Corridor Safety Study

Contractor:  TEC Engineering, Inc.

Project Description:  Traffic Corridor Safety Study to be conducted on Brandt Pike and Old Troy Pike from Taylorsville Road to Fishburg Road

 

Project Name:  Rehabilitation of Sewer Lines – (Project Completed)

Contractor:  Miller Pipeline

Project Description:  Improving the City’s sanitary sewer system.

 

Project Name:  Rehabilitation of Sewer Manholes – (Project Completed)

Contractor:  Municipal & Contractors Sealing Products, Inc.

Project Description:  Improving the City’s sanitary sewer system.

  

Project Name:  Design Old Troy Pike, Phase VIII Design

Contractor:  Mote & Associates

Project Description:  For the engineering of improvements to Old Troy Pike, Phase VIII for vehicular and pedestrian safety.

 

Project Name:  Digital Data Conversion Services Water System, Phase II

Contractor:  ARS Group

Project Description:  Eighteen month contract for the Digital Data Conversion Services Water System, Phase II providing improved water services and increased productivity to citizens.
